My name is Dr. Cherice Roth and I have been a Veterinarian at Portland Veterinary Wellness Center since August 2019, where I also act as Managing DVM of the Clinical Mentorship Program. I enjoy soft tissue surgery as well as orthopedic surgery. I graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Veterinary school, I earned my Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Biochemistry. Before I became a Veterinarian, I was a college instructor where I spent time perfecting my exotic animal medicine and surgical knowledge. I have a passion for mentoring and developing fellow Veterinarians and Veterinary Assistants, as well as partnering with and educating clients. I am also active in the AVMA Veterinary Wellness and Well-being Community. Outside of work you can find me in the woods with my many farm animals, my sons, and my husband. I also enjoy serving on the medical board for several boxer and dachshund rescue organizations.
