Alisson

Alisson is excited to be joining the team at Portland Veterinary Wellness Center after spending the past few years at Lombard Animal Hospital. After starting her career in elementary special education, a spontaneous shift into veterinary medicine turned out to be one of the best decisions she’s ever made. She quickly discovered a passion for helping pets and their families, and she loves bringing the same patience, compassion, and care she had in education into the veterinary field.

Alisson enjoys building relationships with clients, helping pets feel safe and comfortable, and making every visit a positive experience. Whether she’s at the front desk or assisting behind the scenes, you’ll usually find her with a smile and ready to help.

When she’s not at work, Alisson loves spending time with her partner, Chris, their daughter, Luciana, and their pets, Frida and Bruno. She enjoys exploring local coffee shops, finding new places to eat around Portland, and spending time with the people and pets she loves most. She feels incredibly lucky to work in a field where she gets to combine her love for people and animals every day, and she’s looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
