Dr. Chitnis has spent her childhood in India and the Philippines.  Her passion for veterinary medicine motivated her to gain veterinary and educational experiences in India, United States and Costa Rica.

During her time at Purdue she received a degree in veterinary business management and represented the school in business conferences across the US.   She completed clerkships in small animal internal medicine and clinical pathology during her clinical year of veterinary school.  She has extensive research experience and co-authored multiple publications in topics ranging from food safety to animal behavior.

Dr. Chitnis enjoys cooking, painting and going to comedy shows.  She is excited to serve the Pacific North West community!
