Managing DVM

Dr. Emma Flott

I graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and enjoy providing care to all the pets at PVWC! Before veterinary school, I obtained my undergraduate degree in biology at Gonzaga University. I then hopped across the pond to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I completed my master's degree in Applied Animal Behavior and Animal Welfare at the University of Edinburgh. During my master's and throughout veterinary school, I did extensive research on elephant behavior and welfare, a true passion of mine. My veterinary interests include clinical behavior, anesthesia, pain management, end-of-life care and endocrine disease. I am passionate about reducing stress and improving welfare for veterinary patients both in and out of the clinic. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy running, birding, reading and spending time with my Doberman Pinscher, Radar.
