Dr. Emma Flott
Dr Emma Flott graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and enjoys providing care to all the pets at PVWC! Before veterinary school, she obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Gonzaga University. Dr Flott then hopped across the pond to Edinburgh, Scotland to complete her master's degree in Applied Animal Behavior and Animal Welfare at the University of Edinburgh. During her master's and throughout veterinary school, she conducted extensive research on elephant behavior and welfare, one of her true passions.
Dr Flott's veterinary interests include clinical behavior, anesthesia, pain management, end-of-life care and endocrine disease. She is passionate about reducing stress and improving welfare for veterinary patients both in and out of the clinic. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys running, birding, reading and spending time with her Doberman Pinscher, Radar.
