She grew up on Long Island, NY but spent her summers in Fairbanks, AK. She has a BS in Biology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and graduated from Oregon State University with her DVM in 1993. She enjoys feline medicine the most. On her days off she likes riding one of her motorcycles, playing one of her guitars, cooking, gardening, reading, and cheering on her NY Rangers.
